Linux Operating System

* It is story start from UNIX operating system.

* UNIX Operating system Planing by BELL LABORATORY In1964 At New Jersey Place.

* BELL LABORATORY plan was to make it a multi-user base operating such that many people can work on one system simultaneously.

* Five people were managing this this project.

* Five years later 3 people are give-up to this project with planner.

* And then, two people remained to work on this project.

* Those two people namely DENNIS RITCHIE AND KEN THOMSON.

*Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thomson needed this project to do space research.

* Both wanted to do space research that's why this project needed.

* After completed this project , named this operating system UNICS. 

UNICS stands for Uniplexed Information & Computing Services.

UNIX Operating System?

* This operating system was given free to everyone and this system was provided with open source code. and then after some advancement

* In the 1975 launch a version namely is UNIX v6( Version 6)

* It was very popular those time.

* and then after some time companies to coming in the market with new versions of unix v6 operating system.

* After companies enter the market new version of UNIX V6 are not free.

* Because the new version companies were making that's  why all new versions are paid.

All the operating systems given below have the flavor of unix.
